Bustin' out the blackboards!

August always ends up feeling like a Sunday. You've been working for the weekend, you get to enjoy Friday night (end of June here in Canada) and then allllll or Saturday (sweet sweet July)... the Sunday comes and you're already starting to think about Monday's daily grind (See you in September!)...

This year i decided to just embrace the Fall! Soak it in and think of all the good that's going to come out of the brisky season to come. My first shot at designing something Fall inspired are these two new products based on my memories of school days past and the blackboards that profs would scribble about on and then the students would have to figure out the mess.

Here are a new set of coasters and a pencilcase with blackboard jargon all over. Just in time to liven up your home and your school gear with massive smarts!

Mustache Hanky Pics!

Ever since i started selling the Mustache Handkerchief, I've been impressed with all of the reasons why buyers want to get their hands (and vacant upper lips) on a hanky all of their own.

I've now started asking all these mustache fanatics to show me how they sport their new 'staches!

101 Sales!

Happy Canada Day Everyone!

The day was pretty perfect! My boyfriend, Frank, and I hit up the Circus at our local mall parking lot and got all giddy off of pink cotton candy and Shriner's clowns... then after the "wheel of death" grand finale we grabbed some coffees and found ourselves a trail to go for a hike... i had flip flops on so it was a pretty leisurely walk:)... then we drove a long and scenic way home and cracked opened up a great bottle of Ontario wine... a Magnotta Pinot Gris 2006 to be exact! We BBQed a bit and watched the making of documentary of American Graffiti... after that I made my way to my computer to find out that my Mustache Handkerchiefs were features on Uncrate.com which in turn made me a bunch of sales... and Yay! Guess what! I reached my goal of 101 sales on Etsy!!!

What a perfect Canada Day!!

Sprinklers and Popsicles!!

Just in time for the steamy summer days!
Set of 4 Outdoor Sprinkler Coasters

I've been trying to figure out some pieces with sprinklers for the past few months... It's been tricky trying to figure out a design that could convey that 100% childhood love for running through sprinklers on a steamy summer day.

My favourite part about these coasters is that I used the 3 classic popsicle colours: Pink, Orange, and Purple... Pink was always my favourite! Orange would be my second pick... .and purple was always the last left in the box!

I added a 4th colour, green, for grass... i don't know of any green popsicles... pistaschio flavour maybe?!
